Dr. Aled Eirug is a former journalist in ITV and the BBC with over 25 years’ experience, and was Head of News and Current Affairs for BBC Wales. His role as the first constitutional adviser to the National Assembly for Wales (2007-2011) and as policy adviser to Welsh Government (2013-2014), gives him an unique insight into the workings of public policy in Wales, and his experience as chair of the British Council in Wales (2011-2015) and the Welsh Refugee Council (2006-2012) has provided an international context to his work.
