About

After receiving my MSc and Ph.D. degrees in 2014 and 2017 from Tsinghua University, China, I joined Northwestern Polytechnical University, China, as an Assistant Professor. In 2019 I took up a research fellow post at the University of Warwick, UK. Currently, I am a Senior Lecturer in Aerospace Engineering and the primary link from Swansea University to UK-ARC Hydrogen Theme Group.

My research focuses on understanding the basic science in the areas of turbulent multiphase flows, reacting flows, cryogenic hydrogen, detonation, and their applications to advanced aerospace propulsion and clean energy conversion systems.

EG-194 Introduction to Aerospace Engineering

This module will introduce students to the fundamental technology of aerospace engineering. It serves as an integrating module, demonstrating the application of the fundamental scientific principles taught in other modules, in an aerospace context. The module provides a foundation for further specialist aerospace modules at levels 5, 6 and 7.
EG-M329 Advanced Propulsion

The module is intended to extend the fundamental theory of propulsion and aims to provide a further understanding of advanced propulsion systems across a range of requirements such as high-speed flight, high fuel efficiency, and low emission. A series of case studies will be utilized to explore the concepts of advanced propulsion systems.
