An elected Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM) and awarded CIM Chartered Marketer (CMKtr) status, Stephanie Lee brings more than 30 years of experience and knowledge in marketing and internationalisation to her role as Chief Marketing Officer / Head of Marketing, Communications & Engagement Services for the world-renowned Population Data Science (formerly known as the Health Informatics group) at Swansea University Medical School, a part of the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science, Swansea University.

Stephanie has been working in the field of Health Informatics since employed by Swansea University in 2000. She is now leading the marketing, communications, and engagement services team at Population Data Science to providing services to external stakeholders from funders, multi-disciplinary academic groups, public sector bodies, and multi-national corporations in the UK and internationally involving over 750 data users located in more than 100 organisations globally, as well as the 250-strong Population Data Science’s internal staff.

Stephanie is responsible for her teams’ successful delivery of the marketing, communications, and engagement strategies for Population Data Science’s £85m externally funded research portfolios for UK and internationally, that includes the thirteen Centres of Excellence underpinned by its in-house technology the Secure e-Research Platform (SeRP). She is also managing the UK Research & Innovation (UKR&I) funded training and capacity-building programme for Population Data Science.

Her primary focus is to continually raise the profile of Population Data Science at Swansea University Medical School, and to increase its global eminence that successfully helps build international strategic and business partnerships through leading a series of global outreach and engagement programmes.

Stephanie is the Co-Founder and Director of Operations for the International Journal of Population Data Science (IJPDS) that was launched in 2017, hosted by Population Data Science at Swansea University Medical School.
