I joined Swansea University in 2019 as a Lecturer in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at the Computational Foundry. Before this, I was a PhD student at Newcastle University in Open Lab, a HCI group in Computer Science. My PhD focused on strengthening resource constrained communities through technology. Whilst studying for my PhD I was also a part-time police officer with Northumbria Police.
I hold an undergraduate degree in Computer Studies and Secondary Teaching, master’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s in ‘Digital Civics’ (HCI) research.
