Nicola Henwood is a lecturer within the School of Health and Social Care, Swansea University with a keen interest in public health. In addition, she is also part of the admissions team.
Nicola qualified as a nurse in 2009, and has worked in a variety of acute hospital areas in the UK and overseas. In 2012 she qualified as a midwife, working in a busy maternity ward. Following this Nicola worked in the community as part of a unique multiagency team of professionals tackling health inequality within vulnerable populations. She gained her PGCE (PCET) in 2016 prior to joining Swansea University in 2018.
