Professor Farah Bhatti is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Morriston Hospital. She completed her first degree at the University of Oxford and her MBBChir at the University of Cambridge, where she returned to do full time research in transplantation for which she was awarded an MD.

She is an Honorary Professor at Swansea University Medical School and the Lead for Equality and Diversity, for Graduate Entry Medicine, where she is also Careers Lead. 

She was the University Lead for the Race Charter Mark until 2018, and part of the AthenaSWAN Team.
