About

Professor David Skibinski is a Professor Emeritus. He has published on a wide range of topics in genetics and evolutionary biology and is currently working on problems related to proteomics and genomics, plankton evolution and climate change, molecular population genetics of marine invertebrates, and astrobiology. He is also interested in the application of statistical techniques and computer modelling in genetics and evolution. His research aims to increase understanding of how animal populations including humans adapt to environmental change and cope with the threat of extinction.
