Dr Thinzar Min is a Senior Clinical Lecturer and a Consultant Physician in General Internal Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology at Singleton Hospital and Neath Port Talbot Hospital, Swansea Bay University Health Board. She graduated from Yangon, Myanmar in 2005. She completed the specialist training programme in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Medicine in Wales Deanery in 2018. She received a MSc (Diabetes) with distinction from Cardiff University in 2014. Between 2014 and 2017, she undertook a MD project on long-term metabolic outcomes of bariatric surgery in people with diabetes and impaired glucose regulation at Swansea University Medical School. She is actively involved in teaching, supervision of junior doctors in training and research. Her other roles in the Health Board include Audit Lead for Singleton Hospital and Morbidity and Mortality Review Lead for Singleton hospital.
