About

Wendy is a lecturer at Swansea University on the teaching enhanced strand. Wendy is fellow of the Higher Education Academy and contributes to learning and teaching on Applied Medical Sciences, Medical Pharmacology, (Medical) Genetics & (Medical) Biochemistry BSc degree programmes and taught postgraduate Master’s courses. Wendy is Engagement and Partnership lead and Senior Academic Mentor for the above mentioned programmes. She obtained her BSc in Biomedical Sciences and a PhD in stem cell biology at Cardiff University. Her research interests continue to focus on stem cell applications in regenerative medicine with a view to promoting tissue repair, in addition to exploring pedagogical advances to support learners through their journey within Higher Education.
