About

After graduating from the University of Bath in 2011 with a BSc (hons) in Psychology Steff moved to Bangor, North Wales and completed a MSc in the Foundations of Clinical Psychology. Steff has worked as a Research Assistant for Bangor University for five years including with the Dementia Services Development Centre on a number of ageing and dementia studies including the Cognitive Function Ageing Studies.

Steff has worked internationally as a Research Assistant for the University of Otago providing research support across a number of mental health studies. Steff has a particular interest in research development especially within the older adult population and leads on coordinating a network to promote and facilitate more research in care homes across Wales.

Alongside this role, Steff commenced her PhD candidature full-time in October 2019. The purpose of this PhD is to explore the role and development of intergenerational practice within social care, taking a global perspective with a particular focus on the UK and Welsh context.
