About

Marc James Lewis is a Senior Lecturer within the Paramedic Science academic team and programme director for DipHE Paramedic Science full-time cohorts.  Marc has been through the paramedic science programme qualifying as a paramedic and has since operated as a paramedic overseas in hostile environments. In addition, he has worked on an Emergency Ambulance (EA) and Rapid Response Vehicle in Wales and before being employed by Swansea University, worked as a Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) member acting as clinical lead for his team.  During this time marc completed his degree in Acute and Critical Care.  Having worked in a range of hostile environments since 2003, he takes a keen interest in trauma and supports these modules within the programmes.  Since joining Swansea University marc has completed a PGCE and is working towards his FHEA.
