Sara Morris is a lecturer in adult nursing at the St David’s Park campus in Carmarthen. Sara’s current roles include: Programme lead for the PG Certificate in blood components transfusion and Nursing disability co-ordinator
Sara is an NMC registered adult nurse, child nurse and teacher. She is an acute care nurse and has worked in a variety of settings including emergency care, trauma and as a practitioner. Her specialist clinical areas of interest include acute assessment, health assessment, and clinical reasoning.
Sara joined Swansea University after a varied career in both the NHS and Higher Education in England. She has worked at the University of Sheffield where she developed a faculty wide approach to advanced practice, redesigned and developing four new MSc pathways (Child, Neonatal, General practice & Apprenticeship routes).
Sara has also worked at Keele University where she was instrumental in developing a clinical reasoning strategy for pre-registration students and developing Keele’s first graduate entry MSc Nursing programme.
