About

Leigh is a Midwifery Lecturer within the School of Health and Social Care. She trained as a midwife in Cardiff University, qualifying in 2008. She has worked in a number of different areas within a hospital setting providing both low and high risk care. She is passionate about providing all women with individualised and compassionate care, regardless of the environment.

She has been involved in education since 2016, commencing the role of Education Liaison Midwife in Hywel Dda University Health Board and Midwifery Lecturer at Swansea University. She is committed to enhancing the student learning experience and helping guide students in becoming safe and competent practitioners.
