Simon Crabtree joined the School of Law as a full-time member of staff in 2019, following three years’ work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant during his PhD studies and having graduated from the School at the top of his class in 2015. He has also worked as a Case Handler in contract litigation for Bristol-based law firm Lyons Davidson.

His research to date focuses on implied duties of good faith in the performance of contracts, on which topic he has published and spoken internationally. He has taught Contract Law at the School since 2016, and Land Law since 2019.
