Dr Pye is  a registered social worker with over 20 years’  experience of working with children and families within the voluntary, private and statutory setting, This has included working as a field social worker,  and for a substantial number of years as a co-founder and registered manager of a residential child care provision for younger children.

Teaching Interests

Teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate modules. Areas include critical issues in social work, therapeutic work with children, research methods, theories and perspectives in social work.
