About

My advanced practice career began with the development of a community chronic conditions service.   I was then fortunate to move into general practice.  My experience as an advanced nurse practitioner and independent prescriber allowed for the progression into education.  I am currently a senior lecturer for advance practice and I am the programme director for both the MSc advanced practice in health care programme and the BSc general practice nursing programme.   I am also a fellow of the higher education academy.
