Dr. Jane M. Mullins is a Dementia Nurse Consultant who is currently a Research Assistant at CADR. Her experience includes Research Nursing at the Memory Clinics of Bath & Cardiff, caring for people living with dementia in Hospitals and managing a Care Home. She has also lectured on the Masters in Ageing Studies programme and Long Term and Chronic Conditions at Swansea University and Health & Social Care at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Her research experience includes qualitative and quantitative studies with people living with epilepsy and autoimmune disease. Her PhD – A Suitcase of Memories, a sensory ethnography of dementia and tourism with older people included multisensory ways of communicating and connecting with people living with moderate dementia. She has also authored Finding the Light in Dementia, a Guide for Families, Friends and Caregivers.
