About

Charles Millward is a Lecturer in Osteopathy, primarily engaging with Year 2 Osteopathic skills. He also supervises dissertations and provides mentorship to final-year students at the University’s Osteopathy Clinics. Charles is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

He became aware of Osteopathy from a young age and before his training in London was always interested in the profession.

His main research interests are reviewing the application of classical Osteopathy and its validation within contemporary evidence based medicine.

Outside of University, Charles is clinical director of a successful practice as well as staying active in a range of activities from golf, running and cycling to surfing and paddle boarding. He is also an active member of the South Wales Osteopathic Society.
