About

Sarah worked in media industries, primarily public relations, for more than 15 years, having also been employed as a journalist, museum content curator, and film festival director. She has worked in the music industry, theatre, film and at the National Media Museum. She has been lecturing for more than six years, and teaches in the fields of Public Relations, Film and Journalism. She is close to completion of her PhD which explores cohesion between the apparently juxtaposed genres of horror and comedy and includes a feature film length script.

Sarah is currently researching the correlation between the genres of horror and comedy in film and television. She has also recently delivered research lectures on representations of drag and transvestism in horror film and television.
