Passionate about raising standards in Modern Foreign Language (MFL) teaching and improving the uptake of MFL at GCSE and A level, Siân is the MFL PGCE Tutor at Swansea University. Siân has an MA in Translation with  Language Technology and has completed three years of a PhD in multilingual learning. Siân also has a research interest in using digital technology to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom and in well-being and Additional Learning Needs, stemming from her time as a school SENCo. Siân is actively engaged in research projects and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Siân is a qualified and experienced teacher of French and Spanish and has taught both subjects to ‘A’ level.
