Daniel specialises in disability studies and history and is Research Fellow in the Wellcome Trust funded project “Disability and Industrial Society: A Comparative Cultural History of British Coalfields, 1780–1948”. Prior to his appointment to Swansea, Daniel worked at the University of Helsinki. In his free time, he likes to hike, read silly Finnish crime novels, and eat pies.
