The rowing club is one of the largest mixed gender clubs at the university, welcoming both beginners and experienced rowers to join the club.

We race at a wide variety of events throughout the year, such as local races within Wales and national racing at BUCS events and Head of the River.

Our training schedule is flexible as we have sole use of our facilities, however each squad  has at least two group land training sessions per week and multiple water sessions.

Our fleet and equipment has been recently updated with new 4 and 8 boats and we are rapidly expanding, targeting both HWR and HRR qualifications.

We will be running taster sessions and a ‘Learn to Row’ course over the next few weeks so keep an eye out on our social media’s for dates on these.

In order to join the club, make sure to head over the the SU website and pick up both your Sports Swansea membership and your rowing membership so that we can get you on the water ASAP! (Check with your squad captain as to which membership to purchase)
