Aerial sports is a fun and alternative way to improve strength, balance, flexibility and increase your confidence!
Aerial Sports (formerly Pole Fitness) is a fun and alternative way to improve strength, balance and flexibility, and a great way to increase your confidence. We are really pleased to announce that as of 18/09/2014, we are officially recognised by the University as a sport. To find out more about Aerial Sports and what we do, take a look at our videos below.
We changed from Pole Fitness to Aerial Sports in 2019 after our studio disclosed plans to start teaching aerial sports. Our primary focus for the time being is still pole fitness, with other aerial apparatus such as hoops and silks are being introduced during the second semester.
Still have some questions? Contact us on our social pages (links below) or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Classes are run purely for fitness; there will be aches and bruising (but it’s worth it!). Shorts and a vest top are required for each class, as well as loose fitting clothes such as track suit bottoms and a hoodie for cool downs; especially during the winter months.
Our membership fee (for members and associate members) is £13 for a full year.
Remember, as we are a sport, you will also have to pay a £15 Sport Swansea Membership which will cover you for the first term, with a 2nd term top up fee to follow (this new format has been introduced due to Covid19). This will cover your insurance as well as many other perks!
The cost of classes will be £5.50. Classes will be paid for termly in a pack and are every Wednesday afternoon at Swansea Pole and Aerial Academy!
