Wellbeing at Home

In line with the recent Welsh Government announcement of a firebreak lockdown, we will unfortunately be closing our facilities including both gyms from  Friday 23rd October and reopen to our regular operating hours on Monday 9th November.

The last bookable gym session will be at 16:15 on both sites, while the sports halls, outdoor pitches, track and indoor training centre will remain open until 16:00.

In accordance to the guidance, our facilities will be opened only for professional sports training that have been pre-approved and booked ahead of the announcement.

During this time, our staff will be available via email if members have any queries. Please do not hesitate to contact our team via sports-village-admin@swansea.ac.uk.

Online Classes

We know that staying fit and active is our best way to build a strong immune system and stay healthy. Not only that, regular
physical activity is proven to combat stress and provide mental health benefits. Both of which, are more important now than
ever!

To help you stay active at home when it’s not possible to visit us, we’ve designed a new online timetable in conjunction with the CampusLife team and Swansea University Students Union, which aims to keep you fit and healthy. Whether you want to squeeze in one of our programmes before work, around lunchtime or in the evening, they are available 24/7 to slot into your schedule.

You can access the below sessions free of charge in just a few clicks. All fitness classes will be streaming daily on our social
media, follow us for more imformation.

Evolve Unlimited 12:00 - 12:30 A mix of cardio and weights where anything goes. It could be anything from traditional circuits to group goal sessions, and even fun seasonal challenges!

• ensure there is sufficient space to perform all exercises safely and with sufficient space to move freely without obstacles
• any equipment is safe and in good working condition
• floor space is clear of any hazards that may increase the risk of slips, trips or falls
• there is sufficient heating, lighting, ventilation and hydration throughout the workout
