The School of Management is proud to be home to two new professional academies, designed to transform health and care services by collectively developing leaders to successfully adopt value-driven systems and innovation.

The first of their kind in the world, the Academies offer a range of short courses, Master’s, and Doctorate level courses as well as research and consultancy services- all aimed at professionals already working within the health and social care sector, as well as those within the life science industries.

Part-Funded by the Welsh Government’s Intensive Learning Academy (ILA) programme, The Value-Based Health and Care (VBHC) Academy and All-Wales Academy for Innovation in Health and Social Care Management, bring together global leaders in the fields of VBHC and healthcare management innovation, enabling the delivery of unique, impact-led learning experiences.

While the Academies are designed for health and industry professionals across the world, as part of the Welsh Government ILA programme, there are several full scholarships available specifically for individuals working within NHS Wales, Welsh social care organisations and Welsh third sector organisations.

If you have any general queries about either Academy, please contact the team directly.
