Festival of Ideas 2020: The Virtual Festival Starts Now!

We are pleased to announce that the Festival of Ideas 2020 is live. Join us for this very special event, where we will be exploring new ways of thinking to make the world a better place - virtually. We will be debating, creating and reflecting on a diverse range of topics all under the banner of digital innovation through a series of online events.

This will lead up to the 'physical' event, which was due to take place in June 2020, and now rescheduled for 12th and 13th January 2021. In the meantime you can attend Festival talks online from April 2020, get the debate started and spark ideas to explore further at the Festival of Ideas, which will be held at the Computational Foundry in January 2021.

We can't wait to celebrate our international academic, industry and community partners through demonstrations, lightning talks, guest speakers and debating panels in January 2021 - alongside great food, music, art exhibitions, film screenings, and more.

All updates to the schedule will be posted here, and on our Twitter account @CompFoundry using the hashtag #FoundryFest.

The Festival starts now!

Our schedule of virtual Festival of Ideas events are starting in April 2020 - watch talks online and get involved in discussions, as we set the agenda ahead of the Festival gathering in January 2021. Guest speakers and academics from the Computational Foundry will be holding a range of online talks, workshops and seminars to get the debate underway.
