Every year The Faculty of Science and Engineering Employability team host an Employability Skills Day which provides students with an opportunity to listen to company talks, attend mock interviews and network with real life employers to prepare you for the next step in your career.
The latest Engineering Skills Day took place with representatives from 14 companies attending across all disciplines.

The day consisted of company talks from Babcock and Rolls-Royce, a networking session with all present companies, the chance for students to have professional LinkedIn photos taken, with mock interviews and mock assessment centres also being run for students. Over 45 students had a mock interview!
Once again the day proved to be a huge success with some students even receiving placement offers as a result of their mock interviews.
