Best Article Award

Irene Reppa has been awarded the prestigious Best Article Award for 2019 by the Psychonomic Society.

Every year, each of the Psychonomic Society journals selects a Best Article of the Year and the lead author receives a framed certificate and $1,000.  This year, Irene Reppa's article with Charles Leek titled “Surface diagnosticity predicts the high-level representation of regular and irregular object shape in human vision” was nominated by the action editor, Loes Van Dam (at which point all the Action Editors consider the manuscripts that have been nominated and provide rankings), and has subsequently been selected as the Best Article at AP&P for 2019.

The awards are presented to the first author of the article at the Annual Psychonomic Society Meeting. This year the meeting takes place in Montreal, Canada. Read more about the awards.
