This latest ranking reinforces Swansea’s position as one of Wales’ best universities, and is evidence of our improved performance and rapidly-growing reputation of providing top quality teaching, research, student satisfaction and graduate jobs.
“The improvements in our subject rankings also reflects the effort and hard work of our staff and students, and we now have 25 of the 37 subjects we offer in the UK top 30, signifying the quality right across the institution.
“The overall table once again shows we are top in Wales and one of the best in the UK for graduate prospects, something that we work very hard at with our staff, students and business networks. Our Teaching Excellence Framework assessment also recognised this and we were commended for ensuring high proportions of students from all backgrounds achieve positive outcomes”.
Simon Emmett, CEO of the Hotcourses Group, said: “These independent and unbiased league tables are used by almost a million applicants and their advisers monthly and are, as importantly, also well respected by the universities themselves for their accuracy and stability.
“The Guide is an essential element of the wide-ranging portfolio of information, advice and guidance available through Hotcourses and its parent company IDP. It complements the counselling and insight programmes and thousands of student reviews which, altogether, offer the biggest, busiest and unparalleled worldwide resources available on UK higher education institutions and their courses”.
