Academic appointment will improve patient care and attract medical staff

Hywel Dda University Health Board and Swansea University are seeking applications for a Professor in Medical Education, who will also work as an acute physician.

Hosted by Swansea University Medical School, the academic clinical post will further strengthen partnership working and collaboration between the university and the university health board and ultimately improve patient care.

The post itself is expected to attract competition from high calibre candidates, and bolster confidence in Hywel Dda University Health Board as an exciting place for medical staff to come and work.

The post holder will join colleagues in a very dynamic and forward looking medical team, working clinically principally in Glangwili Hospital, but working in close co-operation with, and supporting other clinical, medical professional and managerial colleagues in providing high quality healthcare across the Hywel Dda area.
