Professor Richard B Davies, Vice-Chancellor of Swansea University, said: “ I look forward next week to celebrating the graduate class of 2017 and congratulating our successful students as they move onto the next stage of their lives.

“Our congregations are the happiest occasions in the academic year, enabling us to celebrate our students’ achievements and also acknowledging the important role their friends and families play in supporting and encouraging them throughout their years of study.

Hats in the air big "We are also pleased that Swansea stands out in terms of the success of its graduates in getting graduate level jobs. Our research is world class and this is making waves with employers and encouraging more top employers to recruit Swansea University graduates.

“As well as being true to our Welsh roots we are an international university attracting students and staff from all over the world. We aspire for all our students to be ‘global graduates’ equipped and keen to play their part as citizens of the world.

“I hope this year’s graduates will be able to take a continuing pride in Swansea University, as we continue to build upon the phenomenal success of recent years.”
