Swansea University has been placed in the Top 15 for Student Satisfaction. The latest National Student Survey (NSS) ranks Swansea University at 14th in the UK for student satisfaction, (of the Universities listed in the Times 2016 Good University Guide).
Swansea students rated their overall satisfaction with their University at 90%, higher than the 86% Wales and UK overall figures.
Of our 42 subject areas in the survey 13 are in the top 10 for overall satisfaction including five who are 1st (Osteopathy, Media Studies, French, Zoology and Materials Engineering) and four others also in the top five (Accounting, Spanish, Welsh and Physical Geography and Environmental Science).
Professor Martin Stringer Pro-Vice Chancellor said: “ While we are delighted that the overall satisfaction levels remains very good compared to other Universities in Wales and in the UK, there are a number of areas that will need to be addressed. We will be looking carefully at the issues behind the figures and will work together to seek significant improvements to these results over the coming year.”
