Swansea wins Customer Service Excellence Award

Swansea University’s Marketing, Internationalisation and Development Department has been granted the Cabinet Offices Customer Service Excellence Award which is given in recognition of individuals or teams who have gone the extra mile to deliver outstanding Customer Service.

The Award was based on submitted documentation, in addition to a day-long assessment visit in November last year. The assessment included interviews with University students, staff and external partners to ensure that the required level of service was met in five areas:

  • Customer Insight
  • The Culture of the Organisation
  • Information and Access
  • Delivery
  • Timeliness and Quality of Service

Raymond Ciborowski, Registrar of Swansea University said: “We are very proud that staff from our University have been recognised again for this award. Our Academic Registry, Student Services and Information Services and Systems Departments have already achieved the the Customer Service Excellence Award. Now our Marketing, Internationalisation and Development teams have shown that they too can provide an outstanding service. “
