Swansea University and Tata Steel will be highlighting how they are putting employability at the heart of university-business collaboration in Wales at the 27th annual European Association for International Education conference in Glasgow tomorrow (17th September).
The speakers will be:-
- Professor Hilary Lappin-Scott, Senior Pro-Vice Chancellor, Swansea University
- Dr Jon Howden-Evans, Head of Swansea Employability Academy, Swansea University
- Peter Toms, Tata Steel.
The conference talk will show how Swansea University and Tata work closely together and will feature their plans for the Bay Campus. The speakers will explain how the university’s strategy is very much informed by business collaboration which provides a catalyst for the growth skilled graduates involving global industrial partners, access to cutting-edge research, state-of-the-art equipment and provides opportunities to help create some of the brightest students in Europe.
