Employers looking to recruit graduates with specialist IT skills are invited to attend the annual ‘Project Fair’ where around one hundred Computer Science students will give live demonstrations and poster presentations to showcase their achievements during their final year undergraduate or masters degree course.

The ‘Project Fair’ provides the ideal opportunity for employers to discover the latest generation of Swansea University’s Computer Science talent. Students who possess the high-level IT skills required to help businesses develop and grow into new technologies.
During the evening, there will be the chance for recruiters to meet with the soon to be graduates who will be presenting their final year projects, discussing the scope and challenges they overcame. Many of the projects address ‘real-life’ business needs which helps to demonstrate the real-world potential of our highly skilled students.
Attendees will also be invited to vote for the ‘Best Student Project’; to meet with the academics and industry representatives who supervised each project; and, as importantly, to network with like-minded tech companies, innovators and entrepreneurs.
Representatives from Software Alliance Wales and the other ITWales (http://www.swansea.ac.uk/itwales/) projects - including: Technocamps and The Foundation Degree Scheme – will be on hand to talk through the benefits of collaboration between academia and industry.
