Baby play study seeks participants

Researchers from Swansea University are seeking babies aged between five and seven months to take part in a new study looking at the early stages of play with toys.

Baby with toysParents will remain with their child for the duration of the play session at the University’s College of Human and Health Sciences at the Singleton Park Campus.

The play session will last for under an hour and can be arranged to suit the parent and child’s schedule. The session will be led by a researcher from the Department of Psychology’s Lifespan and Development Research Group.

Participants will also be given £10 to cover their travel expenses to the University.

At the conclusion of the study, the researchers will share the findings with any parents who wish to know the results and provide copies of any publications.
