Postgraduates and early career researchers with an interest in heritage will have the opportunity for a placement with organisations from the Museo Galeleo in Florence to Big Pit in Blaenavon, thanks to a scheme run by the Heritage Skills Project based at Swansea University.
The scheme allows researchers at Swansea University to develop new skills in the field, helping improve their career prospects.
Placements are open to all postgraduate students and early career researchers at Swansea University. The placements include funding for travel, accommodation and basic subsistence where appropriate.

• Gwent Glamorgan Archaeological Trust
• Royal Commission Ancient Monuments of Wales
• National Waterfront Museum
• Big Pit, Blaenavon
• West Glamorgan Archives
• Richard Burton Archives
• South Wales Miners Library
The scheme is led by the Research Institute for Arts and Humanities.
