Former Cabinet Minister Peter Hain to be Visiting Fellow at Swansea

The College of Arts and Humanities is delighted that the Right Honourable Peter Hain MP will be Visiting Fellow in the Department of Political and Cultural Studies for the academic year 2013-14.

Peter HainPeter Hain is MP for Neath, a former minister and Cabinet Minister in the Foreign Office, Northern Ireland Office, Wales Office, Energy and Work and Pensions, and  Leader of the House of Commons. 

On his visits to the department Mr Hain will share his wide experience with students of international relations and government. 

Professor John Spurr, head of the College of Arts and Humanities, said:

"This opportunity to meet a distinguished figure in the field of international relations and dispute resolution will enrich our students' education.  

As a leading parliamentarian Mr Hain will add a further dimension to our students' understanding of the governmental process.
