Studying Physics at Swansea University has definitely been one of the best decisions I have made. The location is incredible, the people are simply inspiring, and the standard is extremely high. I have a lot of praise for all of the staff here and their hard-work, meticulous care, and excellent teaching. Without them, there are certainly a few things that would not have been possible! They say that your university years are some of the best of your life and, I can confirm that after spending them here! I have performed on stage to hundreds of people in Swansea University Show Choir, I have competed at the British Universities Climbing Championship, I have produced front-line research in nanotechnology which we are hoping to publish later this year, and to top it all off I am going to race a car that I have helped to physically design and build with the university at Silverstone and Hungary over the summer. Secondly, I have met some incredible, life-long friends and I have had the endless joy and gratefulness that the stunning location brings - including many days spent exploring the Gower, running to Mumbles and back, and glorious summer nights spent with a roaring fire on the beach. None of this would have been possible if it weren't for Swansea!
