During my time at Swansea University I vastly improved my mathematical capabilities and computer programming skills, which are integral to a variety of career paths. This allowed me to be very marketable for a wide array of jobs, and the diverse nature of the course at Swansea provided me with practical skills in the lab alongside complex problem-solving skills in my coursework. I also worked in the positron lab with Dr Aled Issac and this was a fantastic opportunity for me to experience working with a research team and conducting real life experiments using cutting-edge equipment.
I’ve enjoyed the diverse nightlife that Swansea has to offer and also taken full advantage of the beach. The path is perfect for longboarding. I also enjoyed rock climbing in my final year as the facilities both in Swansea and further out in the Gower are incredible.
