Becoming a Paramedic - Live Webinar Recording
Originally recorded in September 2020 Lecturer and Admissions Tutor Fen Sanders-Lamb talks passionately about our new BSc Paramedic Science course and how you can begin an exciting and rewarding career as a Registered Paramedic.
“The course is very challenging, and it should be, as the responsibilities of a paramedic are great. However, I enjoyed the fact the course pushed me, developed me and provided the core skills needed for the job. There are many qualities a good paramedic needs to possess and top of the list is the ability to remain calm and in control of any situation. This is achieved through excellent communication skills... If you can communicate clearly then you can help those that need it. I now work in Pembrokeshire as a Paramedic and have a role in the Army Reserves as a Defence Paramedic.”
