Pre-arrival checklist

It is important you consider your financial plan before enrolling onto your course to ensure that you are accessing the funding and support available to you if you are not able to pay for fees and other associated costs yourself.

We advise you have your funding confirmed before you enrol on to your course, as once students enrol they will be liable to pay a portion of their fees, even if they are unable to continue.

And remember, Money@CampusLife are available to answer any student finance and funding related queries.

New students

Is your funding late? Here is a checklist to help you

We advise you do not enrol until you have your funding confirmed as once you enrol, you are liable to pay fees.

Has the student applied?	Student can log into their online student finance account to check	Students will need to apply ASAP Contact Finance to advise of possible late fee payment Contact Money@CampusLife for any other advice
Has the student enrolled?	Check University intranet account	Students can enrol online using the student intranet - Enrol Online Students should confirm registration when they enrol – if there’s problems with enrolment or confirming registration please contact our Student Records department
Has the student confirmed registration? Student has gone through clearing and not updated the University they're attending?	Student has Financial Notification but hasn't received an update with Swansea University on it	Student needs to contact their funding provider for guidance. Student Finance are awaiting signed declaration from the student	Students can check if the signed declaration has been provided in their application by logging into their Student Finance account online	If this hasn’t been provided it can be uploaded onto their Student Finance account online. Please contact Student Finance directly for further guidance
Has student changed bank details?	Student needs to check their Student Finance account online and ensure the bank details submitted to Student Finance are correct and reflect the student's nominated bank account	If the bank details on the Student Finance account/application are incorrect, the student will need to call Student Finance with new and old bank details to update on system
