The founding home of the Medical School, the Grove Building hosts a range of teaching and student facilities.  Over recent years, a programme of adaptations and refurbishments to the building has enhanced the learning environment for our students and staff. 

Anatomy Lab

Models in the Anatomy Lab - Skeletons and muscles on arms

Our Anatomy Lab is used by our Medicine, Physician Associate Students and Applied Medical Sciences Students. The Lab provides a perfect place for teaching, and independent learning. Also available is a 3D computer model to allow students to explore Human Anatomy up close examining intricate details. 

Clinical Anatomy Lab

Teaching in the Clinical Anatomy Lab

Our Clinical Anatomy Lab allows Medicine and Physician Associate students to be taught by experts in their field about the clinical side of anatomy, helping them understand what they should be looking for in a clinical setting. The Lab allows students to be taught in smaller groups, and break-out to explore themes and ideas further. 

Computer Suite

Our Computer Suite is available to all students allowing them to use this space between lectures to complete their assignments and research in a quiet working environment. The suite will often be put to good use during exam periods and before assignment deadlines. The suite offers students a great place to come together when working on group projects. 

Integrated Clinical Methods Suite

Teaching in the Integrated Clinical Methods Suite

The Integrated Clinical Methods (ICM) Suite is used by both our Physician Associate, and Medicine Students. This teaching space is set-up similarly to a Hospital ward, allowing students to learn more about clinical practice and to enable them to get used to a clinical settings.
