Genomic Medicine

This course based on the curriculum of Health Education England, NHS England and Genomics England LTD. the content of this course is designed to enhance your employability for student who wants a career in the clinical setting.

Genomic Medicine will equip you with knowledge and skills to understand and interpret genomic data, an understanding of genetic and genomic techniques in a clinical setting, bioinformatic approaches required for analysis of genomic data, and advanced knowledge and skills to improve service delivery to patients. The course will introduced to the fundamentals of human genetics and genomics along with techniques required for DNA and RNA sequencing to study genomic variation observed in the clinical setting.

Medical Neuroscience

Medical Neuroscience is the study of the brain and nervous system, examining its structure, function, chemistry, and physiology to better understand medical conditions relating to the nervous system and working as a framework for understanding human behaviour.

This course will explore the theoretical and practical aspects of Medical Neuroscience using an integrated learning approach that utilises a mix of on-campus evidence-based teaching and online learning, alongside the delivery of key practical laboratory skills.

Nanomedicine

If you have aspirations to work in a medical or life sciences field, Nanomedicine could be the course for you. Nanomedicine is the point where clinical medicine, pharmaceutics, regenerative medicine and nano(geno) toxicology meet. The increasing use and demand for nanotechnology and their applications in clinical and medical settings means that the global demand for knowledge and understanding of nanotechnology and its interactions within the human body is growing exponentially.

You will be taught by an interdisciplinary team of biomedical and life scientists, chemists, and engineers and gain the lab skills desired by employers to work in the nanotechnology and nanomedicine space.
