Marketing manager wins CASE Europe award for contribution to Swansea University

Kenon Man, International Marketing, Recruitment and Intelligence Manager at Swansea University has been presented with an ‘Emerging Marketing and Communications Professional Award’ at the annual conference of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).

Kenon ManThe conference which took place in Brussels between 30 August and 2 September recognises the contribution of individuals to the advancement of European-based schools, colleges and universities through their CASE Europe Awards Programme. 

The Emerging Marketing and Communications Professional Award is a new award for 2016 and recognises an outstanding early career professional who has shown an innovative approach, dedication to excellence and has had a positive, measurable impact through their work.

Kenon, who has worked at Swansea University for three years, was chosen to receive the award for his ‘success and bold vision in creating a positive digital culture especially for international students’. He is pictured (centre) with Sue Cunningham, President of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education and John Middleton, Executive Director, CASE Europe.

On receiving his award, Kenon said: “I am absolutely delighted to be the first recipient of this award. I would like to thank my colleagues for my nomination and for providing me opportunities to develop my skills and knowledge of the Higher Education sector, and for their continuous support on various digital projects.”
