Join Wales' largest social science conference!

Dates: Thursday 3rd – Friday 4th July 2014

Venue: Aberystwyth University

The 2014 conference is the fifth annual WISERD conference, and follows on from four successful conferences, held in the Universities of Cardiff, Swansea, Bangor and South Wales.

Bringing practitioners, policy makers and social scientists together, WISERD conferences have become established as one of the most important events in the social science calendar.

Themes covered at the conference this year include:

  • Culture, Values and Creative Industries
  • Civil Society
  • Economic Life
  • Health, Environment and Wellbeing
  • Transitions in Education, Childhood and the Labour Market
  • Social Care across the Life-course
  • Open Sessions
