The School of Management at Swansea University is currently receiving record breaking increases in applications from students for places on their courses.

Undergraduate courses have seen an increase of 37% in applications since last year, while applications for post-graduate programmes are up 41%.  The accounting and finance post-graduate programmes are leading the way with an amazing 107% increase in applications - more than doubling on the previous year.

Professor Niall Piercy, Deputy Dean, Operations at the School of Management said: “ In the last nine months the School of Management has undergone a major strategic transformation. As part of this process, over forty new undergraduate and fifteen new post-graduate programmes have been developed and taken to market. The catalogue of modules delivered to students has been entirely re-written and is nearly twice the size of previous years, while industrial work-placements for all undergraduate students have been introduced from 2014. We have increased academic staffing by nearly a quarter and more than doubled the size of our student support and experience teams. In summer 2015 we move to a new purpose built facility as part of the £450million new Swansea University Bay Campus. “

The School of Management are still accepting applications for all programmes for 2014 entry.   The School continues to offer more than a million pounds of scholarships for postgraduate study for this September's intake. Visit the website at www.swansea.ac.uk/som for more details.
