Dr Geraint HarveyDr Geraint Harvey of Swansea University’s College of Business, Economics  and Law has won the best developmental award from the British Academy of Management for his paper entitled  'Consolidation, Conflict and the Congruence of HRM at European Low Fares Airlines.’

The paper, which was co-authored with Professor Peter Turnbull of Cardiff Business School, is based on data collected for a study conducted on behalf of the European Transport Workers Federation, which was sponsored by the European Commission and examines how the HRM of European low fares airlines are aligned with best practice within the strategic HRM literature and what are the outcomes both for the firm and employees.
