International Development

The team recruits international undergraduate and postgraduate students from over 100 countries.

We maintain international partnerships to extend Swansea’s global reach and have exchange links with more than 100 partner universities and organisations around the world. Our international scholarships strengthen our study and work abroad programmes.

We host visits in many countries and have regional specialist teams:  Americas and Europe, South and South East Asia, Middle East and Africa and East Asia.

Our Go Global team is responsible for all students who are either going abroad or coming to Swansea to study.  The team coordinates and provides funding for opportunities in a variety of countries including study and volunteering programmes, internships and cultural programmes.  We also co-ordinate a range of short and summer programmes.
