Professor Andrew Tettenborn of the IISTL spoke at the highly prestigious Contracts in Commercial Law conference in Sydney, Australia.
This was a large two-day event attended by senior judges, lawyers and professors from across the world (the slate of speakers included one Law Lord, two Chief Justices and no less than six professors from the Oxford Law Faculty). His paper, “Of debts, damages and errant trustees”, discussed the remedial implications for common law and equity of the Supreme Court's decision in AIB v Mark Redler and the fallout from it.
